Welcome to the Spiritual Care Collaborative
Welcome to the home page of the Spiritual Care Collaborative. The Spiritual Care Collaborative (SCC) was formed to provide a common voice for professional pastoral care, counseling and education organizations in the United States and Canada. Our goal is to speak with a unified voice as clinically trained, qualified pastoral/spiritual caregivers who serve as chaplains, pastoral educators and counselors in specialized settings including hospitals and other healthcare organizations, military, prisons, and the business workplace.

The SCC is a strong advocate for quality spiritual and pastoral care. The participating organizations have collaborated in the development of and adherence to common professional standards and code of ethics.

Many organizations are committed to providing high quality care to the whole person of their clients and employees. Executives can know that employing chaplains, educators or pastoral counselors from participating organizations of the Spiritual Care Collaborative provides them with the most inclusive professional credentials.

The Spiritual Care Collaborative welcomes other participating organizations who are committed to the same common standards and code of ethics for professional pastoral care. Watch the website for more information and to download the application information.
